Notice of Preparation of Registration Rolls for Annual Election of the Valley Cottage Fire District.
Be it resolved that the Board of Elections of the Valley Cottage Fire District shall meet on the 24th day of November 2008 at 6:00 p.m. at the Valley Cottage Firehouse, 20 Lake Road, Valley Cottage, New York, for the purpose of preparing the roll of registered voters of the Fire District.
The Annual Election of the Valley Cottage Fire District will be held on the 9th day of December 2008 between the hours of 6 p.m. and 9 p.m. at the Valley Cottage Firehouse, 20 Lake Road, Valley Cottage, New York.
Please note that those persons who have registered with the County Board of Elections on or before November 17, 2008 shall be eligible to vote.

NOTICE OF ANNUAL ELECTION
VALLEY COTTAGE FIRE DISTRICT
IN THE TOWN OF CLARKSTOWN
IN THE COUNTY OF ROCKLAND, NEW YORK
Notice is hereby given that the Annual Election of the Valley Cottage Fire District will be held on December 9, 2008 between the hours of 6:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. at the Firehouse located at 20 Lake Road, Valley Cottage, New York, for the purpose of electing a Commissioner with a term to expire December 31, 2013.
Pursuant to Resolution adopted by the Board of Fire Commissioners to govern the Annual Election, a candidate for Office in the Valley Cottage Fire District shall file a Nominating Petition subscribed by twenty-five (25) qualified voters of the Fire District with the Fire District Secretary twenty (20) days prior to the date of the Annual Fire District Election.
Nominating Petition forms may be obtained from the Secretary and a candidate for Fire District Office in the above election must file his or her Nominating Petition with the Secretary no later than November 19, 2008
All residents of the Valley Cottage Fire District who were duly registered to vote with the County Board f Elections on or before November 17, 2008, shall be entitled to vote at this election.
